Freelancers who are based outside of the convergence region of Wales but who are working on projects within the region will now be able to take part in Skillset Academi+.

So – say you are based in Cardiff but are working on a freelance project for a company in Swansea, you would be eligible for a fully/part funded place on any of the Skillset Academi+ courses. All we would need to confirm this would be a copy of the contract that you have with the company or a dated invoice for the work (funded places are given on a case by case basis).
