Swansea Metropolitan University is a member of the University of Wales, and is the organiser of SAND, a prestigious international digital animation event which encourages the convergence of animation, CGI and other digital technologies to create commercially exploitable, innovative content. The University’s role within the SSAW is to take part in the further development of the animation curriculum across the SSAW and also offer an MA in 3D Computer Animation.
