The University’s School of Art, Media and Design, which includes the highly-reputed International Film School Wales, has a long history of excellence in creative and practice-based research, and was rated ’5′ – the highest grade achieved by any Art School – in the last Research Assessment Exercise. The University, together with its predecessor institutions, has built a reputation as a leading centre for the education and training of audiovisual professionals and is the main provider of film education in Wales.
