The recent establishment of CCI offers a unique environment for studying courses in film – bringing together design, music and drama alongside film, television and photography. Students of film at undergraduate and postgraduate level are able to work across the range of production disciplines towards a number of Skillset accredited qualifications such as the BA in Film and Video and the MA Film Producing and Business Management. CCI also offers extensive and specialist provision for study at an elite post-experience and Doctoral level. From 2007 the former associate partner Glamorgan Centre for Art and Design Technology has been incorporated into CCI and continues to offer a Skillset accredited BA Animation course, which is part of the SSAW curriculum and also takes part in the further development of the animation curriculum across the partnership.
